DAAD-Prize 2022

On December 8th, Folkwang Rector Prof. Dr. Andreas Jacob awarded the DAAD Prize 2022 to Pavel Efremov. The prize recognizes outstanding achievements by international students at German universities. The DAAD Prize, is intended to draw attention to the stories of foreign students at German universities and to help personalise this invaluable group. The aim of the prize is to make it clear that foreign students take a piece of Germany back to their home countries and bring something of themselves and their culture to Germany – a reciprocal enriching arrangement for both sides. “Generosity Gala” – A success for a better life for children!

“Generosity Gala” is the main benefit concert organized by CCF-Moldova under the patronage of the famous soprano Valentina Nafornita. This year Pavel Efremov was the special guest of the event. Together with the conductor of the National Opera in Bucharest, Daniel Jinga, the soprano Valentina Nafornita and the national youth orchestra of Moldova, an extraordinary concert on tango motifs took place. The big surprise of the evening was the extraordinary dance by Valentina Nafornita, who once again showed what a versatile artist she is. Scholarship holder at the Werner Richard – Dr. Carl Dörken Foundation

Pavel Efremov is a scholarship holder of the Werner Richard - Dr. Carl Dörken Foundation for the year 2022/2023. The funding includes the placement of well-paid performances.

The debut of the Duo Chira & Efremov in Italy

Young artists Andreea Chira with her panflute and accordionist Pavel Efremov will be the protagonists of two concerts scheduled for April 9th at the Palazzo Guarnieri in Feltre and April 10th at the Palazzo Beltramini in Asolo.

Award for “Best Student from Moldova”

During the Gala of Students from the Republic of Moldova, Pavel Efremov received the award for the Best Student from Moldova in the Art category.

GWK Music-Price 2021

The accordionist Pavel Efremov from Detmold and the pianist Sonja Kowollik from Münster have been awarded the sponsorship prizes for outstanding young musicians from Westphalia-Lippe by the GWK - Society for the Promotion of Westphalian Cultural Work. In the competition audition at the Musikhochschule Münster, the soloists convinced the prominent seven-person jury with great musical creativity and artistic maturity, stylistic security, brilliant technique and high stage presence.
